Recount Writing-My Birthday

                            WALT use the correct structure and language for Recount Writing

On Monday October the 14th it was my birthday. This year, on my birthday, my cousins came and we had a nice kai. We had pizza, sausages, hot chips, sausage rolls and sprite. Then we played outside. We played hide and seek. I hid in the long grass. After that we went inside. When we went inside, we played bingo my sister won the game.

At Home
Friday: After school me and my sister went home. We had a bath then it was dinner we had boilup it was delicous. After we were playing hide and seek inside because it was raining.
Saturday: Next morning we had breakfast. We had pancakes. I had a nutella and banana pancake and my sister had an apple and maple syrup pancake. Next my nan was watching a movie on the computer while I was drawing. That night we were sleeping in my sister’s room because our dad was away. Because he was at work.
Sunday: On the last day of the weekend I was drawing again. Drawing was fun. After that nanny Wae took us to town to go to New World and we were going to get ice cream. I was jumping up and down. I really liked ice cream. At night we were having dinner. It was a pie, broccoli and potatoes. Finally we went to bed.

My Holiday

On Sunday me, mum, Uncle, Koko and Awatea went to Rainbows End because it was awatea’s birthday. The ride I wanted to do was Log Flume. I was Jumping up and down but a lot of people were going to that ride. So we had to wait. Then 1 minute later it was our turn I said ''Yes' with a smile on my face. the first part was a Pirate on wooden planks. The next part was a cave filled of talking trees I said ‘’This is weird’’. The last was part was The Water Slide I was a bit afraid and when we slid down I said ‘’AHHHH!’’ It was my favourite ride.
