Goals from Term 1

In Term 1 I achieved my goals in writing reading and maths.

I did not achieve my goals in spelling.

Recount Writing-Going to a circus.

I am learning to add interesting words to my Recount writing.
On Thursday me, dad, mum, my sister, Nan and my cousins were going to a circus. We were so excited.
First we went to Kaikohe because the circus was there.
But we had to wait. It took 10 minutes until it started.
I was bored and then it started. I was so so excited.
I saw magic and I thought magic was not real.
I was amazed at what I was watching.
After the circus we went home.
We were playing when we got home.
I said, "That circus was amazing. I want to go there again.’’

Recount Writing-Going on a boat

Going on a boat.

On Saturday me, nan and my cousins were going on a boat.
I was excited but we had to wait for 2 hours. We
were playing and we had lunch until the boat arrived.
2 hours later the boat finally arrived! I felt excited.
Then we went on the boat and it was fun.
We went on front of the boat
and it was super windy. We ran back inside because
Nan said we could have crashed in the window behind us.
I said, "OK."
After that we sat down for 9 hours and we finally
got out of the boat.
Finally we had dinner then we went home and went to sleep.

I said, "That trip was fun. I hope we go there another time."
